We have published two handbooks on restoration and renovation.

Handbook: the Carnival House; a guide to renovation

Under the auspices of the emerging Centre for Karst Architecture in Štanjel, we have collaborated with other experts in the production of the book The Karst House; a handbook for renovation. We approached the project with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of preserving cultural heritage and the right approach to preserving it. This book will help you to find a compromise between heritage protection and its modern utility.

The publication is available in electronic form on the website of the Centre for Karst Architecture.

Restoration Manual

Handbook Breathe life into old furniture
will give you the basic restoration knowledge to determine the age and value of your furniture, as well as the properties and advantages of different types of wood.
Through the restoration of different pieces of furniture, detailed with illustrations and many colour photographs, you will follow each step of the restoration in detail.
